98 gsx ecu used on 90-94 turbo legacy
So the idea has been rolling around in my head. I know there are no tuning on the stock ecu for the 2.2t and that the ej20g ecu can be modified to work. Now both the 2nd gen eclipse gsx and the first gen turbo legacy use the same connector's. As for pin layouts they differ from each other. So a patc...

Re: 91/92 ss build
Yeah the location for the box worked out really well I made sure that I checked fitment a few times before I mounted it. The nice thing and pain in the butt part is location. 1. Its a nice way to keep it close to the battery for the best possible power and ground. 2.The location keeps the engine bay...

Re: 91/92 ss build
So update on the Subaru project I have been keeping busy with work and haven't really had time to post up some pictures but I have done a few mods to the car since I got it a year ago and thought I would post them. The first thing that I have done was upgrade my stock scoop to the wrx scoop. I notic...

Ej20g swapp questions
So I have picked up most of the stuff I'm going to need for my swap over to ej20g and planning on getting the rob tune chip in the ecu. My main question I wanted to ask was. Would it be ok to run the stock 390 injectors on the stock ej20g computer. My current set up is a swapped tdo4 with a 06 top m...

Re: 91/92 ss build
The 91 I sadly had to scrap. I do have a lot of parts for it laying around still. There was just to much rust on the under car part of the chassis to many holes in the unibody where I would of been fine if I was going to drive it daily but I have been planning on going to the track and maybe some Au...

Legacy 555 wheels
So I have been searching the internet for awhile and I've turned up with nothings. I'm looking for the rims featured on the Legacy 555 blue wrc car I know that they are 15 inch wheels. I have no clue who made them or where I might be able to find some of the rims. I've found a few after markets that...

Re: Codes 24/33
I do have a 2.5 rs manual trans in a car that was a automatic. The cable does reach and can be screwed in it seems like the internal part of the cable that connects the speedo and trans im guessing is to short and is not engauging the speedo in the cluster

Codes 24/33
So I see in the code chart that there might be a relation between error code 24 for the air control valve and error code 33 which is vehicle speed sensor. Could error code 33 set error code 24 since the air control valve control input is vehicle speed. 2 questions a how does the computer get the vss...

Re: Clutch to the floor
Well looked down the hole where the clutch fork is and didn't see any issues. Thinking it was a throw out bearing issue pulled the transmission and lowered it down out of the way. I found almost half the pressure plate fins where bent and the throw out bearing had some play in it. So i guess its tim...

Clutch to the floor
So I recently just finished up a engine swap into a 92 legacy turbo. The car already had a 99 2.5 rs 5 speed swapped with master and slave swapped as well. Here is the deal when I bought the car I noticed that the clutch would disengage fully and would engage maybe a 1/2 inch or less off the floor a...

99 2.5 rs trans swap questions
So last week I picked up a 92 turbo legacy with a 99 2.5 rs 5 speed trans swap done to it. The previous owner never got around to figuring out how to hook up the speedo. Since the car is the old mechanical style vs the electronic speedo in the 2.5 trans. Is there any way to hook up the cable into th...

Re: My 91 T-Legacy
It wasn't bad at all. The scoop is of a 04 wrx. The opening from the old scoop gets covered up by the new scoop and the old scoop cutout is the same size as the 06 wrx intercooler. I also went the extra mile and took sanded, primed and painted the scoop to match the car. The scoop I got already had t...
