The trans shop would have to split the case apart to fix the front seal- so might as well do the clutches while in there and all seals. $1500.00+ so went for used 80,000 one. Mine had 120 on it and dont know why it went. Good Luck. Dave BTW-$300.00 for R@R.

Plastic emblem on tailgate(wagon)

I was washing my car(93 legacy wagon) and the emblem that says Subaru on the tailgate(red stripe) came off. It looks like it has some sort of adhesive on it. Do I just glue it on or what? Dave

Fixed the pulley bolt today-pulley and keyway look good--the hardest part of the job was finding and replacing the little rubber boot. Thanks for help! Dave in Tahoe

It is Automatic-when I changed the timing belt 1 yr ago- I used big set of channel locks that put scratches on the pully. Im thinking of lifting radiator up so to get air tool on it. What torque should it be 100lbs to much

My crank pully is loose and would like to know the simple way to tighten. Remove starterto get to flywheel-radiator-or vise gripes on pully. Thanks Dave in Tahoe
