I don't want to double post, but I searched and didn't find anything. Does anyone have detailed instructions on replacing head gaskets on a 1990. I'm debating on whether to do this my self or not.

Thanks I will probably have more questions. I think I have talked a friend into helping me do this myself. I appreciate the help. I hated to junk the car. I have had a new water pump put on and a new timing belt. I had just put new tires on it a week before the head gasket blew.

I just bought a 1990 Legacy L 5spd wagon for $1000. It has a 173,000 milles on it. The only things wrong with it are it needs brakes and rotors which I picked up at NAPA. I was just wondering how hard it is to change the rotors all the way around.
