Re: Carl's 1993 Legacy SS 25th Anny
Pretty sure I blew a headgasket. Either way... ended up buying a 2013 Focus. (Pics to come) Still have the Subaru, but it's being put on hold for right now.

Top Secret Headlight Project
It's never been done before, and it's going to be the coolest thing you've ever seen. (as far as legacy headlights go)
Keeping this secret to surprise everyone. R&D supplies and construction will probably take 2 months at most. I will release full instructions when I am done.

Re: Direct fit AWIC kits on the way.
Installed TD04. Works with the VF11 or TD04. Essentially works with any turbo as long as you get the correct coupler sizes (inlet/outlet) for the turbo.

My vac is now -12 at idle. Which is right in the good range considering the 1 less per 1000ft rule.

Re: Cheap custom intake for stock or aftermarket turbos
I changed the pics to links since they were a little large. Do you plan to run that adapter for the BPV return? Yeah I plan on doing that for the final product. I didn't want to hold them up there as they were getting ready to close when I arrived. I will swing by another time this week, and includ...

Re: Cheap custom intake for stock or aftermarket turbos
Here's what I whipped up today. Will probably switch to T fittings for the final product, but you get the idea. All that for just under $100.

Cheap custom intake for stock or aftermarket turbos
Working on making a custom intake. I will share the entire build process with you as I did with my air to water intercooler setup. This should take far less time. Considering using these parts Couplers with vac ports. http://www.siliconeintakes.com/product_info.php?cPath=9&products_id=1232&o...

Re: Had a bit of a scare recently
Welp issue was resolved with a simple flat head screwdriver.... I simply revved the car a few times while looking in the engine bay. Eventually water started leaking, and then spraying out of the bottom radiator hose. Somehow the hose clamp came loose. The only reason I didn't notice this before is ...

Re: Idle and start issues
That was one thing that i was considering. Can those be replaced without doing a partial drain of the coolant system? Very easy install. When I bought my legacy I was able to get it for $400 less than the guy wanted because of the check engine light. I ended up paying $1600. I replaced the knock se...

Re: Had a bit of a scare recently
Just remember to keep squeezing the coolant hose on the passenger side of the radiator. It will take several squeezes per minute, over 30-45 minutes. If you have a friend that can help, have him watch the temp guage. If the coolant looks like it is about to gyeser, turn the car off and then restart...

Re: Had a bit of a scare recently
I had an overheating issue for sometime. Turns out, it took me several coolant burping methods to fix everything. First the car would just over heat and gyeser coolant from the tank, then it would only get hot if I was not moving and it would go away once I was driving, then finally after one more ...
