The clicking is normal. It's the relay. If you have cruise control for a short period of time I would suspect a vacuum leak. It could be your wheel bearing. I let one go a long time on my 91 SS, eventually it would make a grinding sound on corners that would unload that wheel. A serious, low pitched, scraping and/or grinding sound. Very ugly. Cured by wheel bearing replacement.

Yeah, well... I don't know about rare because I have one exactly like it.

But if it really is "rust free," then yes, it is EXTREMELY rare! For a 91 Legacy, anyway.

I did it. I found the leads going to the light by the ashtray. I put the gauge illumination in parallel with that. Works great, follows the dash illumination dimmer normally. Search for previous threads for detailed explanation.
