Where are you located?
If in or around WA, are there body parts (specifically the hood) available, and if so, could I see a pic?

Re: BNW
Gotcha. Yeah, I already bought my premium one. Didn't know I could get in early. Hope to see you there!!! I believe the plan is that we are meeting a few people at the Krispy Kreme in Tacoma at 7 and leave for Portland from there.

Re: New Member! (1991 SS)
After a fitting (or just the really old oil return line) went out on my turbo and the exhaust manifold cracked, I decided to go all out and convert my SS back to Subaru parts. Out with the T3/T4. custom up and downpipes, and cut up SAAB intercooler (which was actually pretty nice) and in with v3 STi...

Re: What did you do to your Subie today?
Got it running!!! At idle it needs a bit more fuel than it should, but when it revs it sounds perfect. The turbo sounds mean. I know there is a vacuum leak so we're going to work on that Thursday and hopefully figure out the idle issue. Today I need to clean up the intake hoses. Then Friday morning ...

Re: What did you do to your Subie today?
Those wheels look really good! Update on mine, I'd post a pic from last weekend if I wasn't so lazy. VF39, headers, up and downpipes are all in, waiting on hoses to show up tomorrow so I can button everything up, realllly excited to start it up. Should get it all done Saturday, last thing to do afte...

Ah, gotcha. No worries! Not sure why it is so hard to find something to block off that hole on the intercooler... hahaha

Re: What did you do to your Subie today?
Going to be fiddling with my Legacy this weekend! Uppipe, downpipe, turbo, intercooler, headers. Basically redoing the whole turbo system. Plan is to fit all of the new stuff up, have new gaskets to connect it all, then going to write up a list of hoses and clamps that I will need to order and put o...

Re: HELPPPPPP Bottomed out, turbo oil leak
did you have bump stops in? I would have to imagine they are still installed. I was going like a mile an hour when it impacted anyways, I just hit the ground in just the right spot, it seems. Update: Got the VF39 last night, no shaft play or anything so we're looking good. Picking up headers and up...

Re: HELPPPPPP Bottomed out, turbo oil leak
Alright: Update Time Picking up the VF39 today. It should be compatable with the downpipe currently on the car. If it isn't for some reason, I have a COBB unit that I salvaged off of my 2006 Spec.B that I could use, the old DP would just have to be cut and the mid-pipe would need a flange welded on ...

Re: HELPPPPPP Bottomed out, turbo oil leak
The stock turbos were also coolant cooled. Why you want to go so big? I found out the available turbo is a VF39 out of a 2005 STi. I'm planning on going with it because it was offered to me, and if we can get it to fit I would love to run it. After pulling my intercooler off and getting a better lo...

HELPPPPPP Bottomed out, turbo oil leak
Alright, so only bad things happen on my lunch break. I was driving through South Seattle and my car bottomed out. Looking like an exhaust leak from the front end of the car (not what I'm worried about at the moment), and the oil fitting on the turbo (it is a t3/t4 turbo, rotated setup) is ruined as...
