search button.

I wouldnt suggest wrx stuff for the car unless it's coilovers just because it's a wagon... There's weight distribution that you need to think of

I actually just bought a full suspension off of a 02 wrx wagon with tein springs. I found out that no modification is needed and it will fit fine. I'll let you know how it turns out.

depends on the rear spring rate. Weight distribution is much more front-biased on the BF than the GG. The rear spring rate on the teins is still higher than stock, though. It's just that the fronts are even more so, so they will settle less than the rears under the weight of the car.

the ass of the leg wagon is heavier than the ass of the impreza, if the springs are built to support a wrx back end, then they'll likely sag more with a heavier load on them

I don't have the link to that suspension chart on nasioc, but if you compare the tein to the stock wagon, you'll be able to tell how the suspension will be uneven. Also, it's my understanding that you will need new rear strut tops for the wrx stuff to fit your car.

Oh, here it is

BF springs have a higher rate in the rear, WRX wagon springs have a higher rate in the front. That's not going to be good.

Are the springs the same length? They're shorter in the front, I think. If they're the same, you could put the rear springs in the front struts and the front springs in the rear, maybe.

Personally, I wouldn't have done it, you could try to re-sell them and order whitelines, or get a set of cheap-o coilover sleeves and put them over a set of agxs. If you truly want good performance, it's going to cost you. Suspension is tough on the wagons because they do have such a heavy rear end. Try using the search button or reading a few threads down

Yeah i have rear top-hats that are coming with the suspension. I think i'll just try it and see how it turns out. I know they will fit but i'll have to wait and see how the weight distrubution works out.

jamal: are those rates for GC/GF impreza or the bug eye one?

I would've though that any bug eye suspension would be ok because it is of similar weight to our BC/BF's.

The bugeye is more nose-heavy than our cars though.

I checked up on the weight of an 02 wrx wagon compared to the weight of my 92 n/a wagon and they are within 100-150lbs of one another as far as curb weight goes. The front weight and the rear weight are very close as well. I don't believe it will be a problem, but i will post pictures of the process when i am done with the swap.
