Well, after living under them, and upstairs at my mum's house, I paid alot of attention to how I walk.Tleg93 wrote:Yeah, living below someone usually isn't too fun. You have to deal with that stuff if you do. I don't think anyone thinks about how they walk or other stuff like that. It's just a bad position to be in.I lived in the country my entire life, until I moved out last summer. My apartment life lasted approximately 6 months. I can not go back. My downstairs neighbors played video games with their sub turned up, so there would be approximately 5 hours of the exact same beat going almost every night. My upstairs neighbors didn't understand the theory of walking lightly. ugh. Then they'd get up about 15 minutes before I got up every morning for work, and go to the bathroom, flushing the toilet, so I could hear all of their urine and shit running down the pipes in my wall. That robbed me of those vital last 15 minutes of sleep. I wanted to kill them all.
Bad neighboors or am I just an a*hole?

I had a similar noise problem. The medical office that was erected next door to my house employs a bunch of illegal aliens to blow off their parking lot, and they ran gas-powered hedge trimmers, edgers and blowers starting at 6am on Mondays. I complained to them many times with no results. The illegal crew boss got pretty pissed when I took his photo and mentioned the INS. He hates me, and threatened me with personal violence. So...
I went to City Hall and got a copy of our local noise ordinance and informed the owner of the office that if his crew didn't cease and desist with the 6 am noise I would call the cops. I gave him a copy of the ordinance and a letter signed by myself and four neighbors who were pissed at the noise. Asshole that he is, he ignored it. The next Monday when the crew showed up, I called the cops and I had a couple of pissed off neighbors backing me up when the cops showed up and informed the illegals that they were breaking the law.
The illegals now do thier parking lot cleanings on Tuesday afternoons. I still hate the noise, since I work at home but at least it's not at 6am. I don't know why the cops didn't ask for some green cards when they busted the illegals; I guess they just didn't want to have to deal with the paperwork.

Thanks K. They've been doing better since I've started waiting to carry in the guns from my car until I know they are having a party and people are meandering up the street to their place. Tonight they'll be hard at it, but it's the first home football game so I don't care
