there should be a diamond shaped rubber gromet on the firewall that is made for the clutch i believe. other than that everything elses should go through the holes already there.

Have you read the write up on the awd/mt swap? it is very very helpful

What year is your car, and what kind fo pedals are you putting in? If it's hydraulic and your car is the first gen you don't have the holes for it. If it's cable you have a hole for it, it's kinda hard to see from the engine side, but you should be able to see the grommet from the interior side.

You mean if it's a 1990 only :) 91-94's had turbos so they had the holes for the hydraulic setup...

even the NA's had the holes for the hydraulic setup?

so it's just a matter of switching over to the new pedal setup and clutch slave system?

Show me one FWD 1st gen Legacy that has hydraulic clutch holes. Hell, show me any non-turbo 1st gen Legacy with hydraulic clutch holes.

Are you talking about the holes to mount the clutch MC?

They should be there from 91 onward.

These are the holes, it will have a single rubber plug over all three holes.

Yep those are the ones that are absent on all NA first gen legacys. I think they weren't standard on all subarus until 98 or 99.
