how hard would it be to swap transmissions from a turbo leg parts car to a 5spd 00rs, would it be worth the trouble? The reason I'm asking is because I'm going to turbo my rs w/FAT stage 3 kit soon and that means i have to upgrade clutch, since I have to remove everything anyway should I just use the ss transmission and get a wrx clutch?

You need to swap the diff too, (unless RS have 3.90 gears)

yeah, I figured I would need to swap diffs, what about linkage? are the driveshafts the same?

i might be interested in your 5mt from your RS....i ihave a few things in mind and i would like one of those 5mt's if thats what your car has....

I'm thinking its pretty much a direct swap if you use the driveshaft that was on the RS originally. You'd have to work something out about the hydraulic clutch setup though...

Yeah, let me know if you sell that RS transmission. You're actually relatively local to me, and I've been wanting to go the other way (put an RS tranny in my SS)

Well,
You have to replace everything required to actuated it. Push versus pull, and all the related components like slave cylinder, etc.

I have a builder RS tranny if anyone is interested. It needs a shift fork repaired. I got it from Steve M. I'm in for $250, including my freight. I'll sell for that, and you pay your freight
