Finally got a 22T( complete w/sesors and wiring) at the junk for $150. But that is only the beginning for me. Rebuild is mandatory. Already sourced Forged Pistons. Any recommendations for gasket kits? Subaru,felpro.......? Im looking for quality and strength. what brand of rings and bearings do you thoroughbreds go with? I have a 95 Impreza L 2.2 w/auto and awd. This is and will be my everyday driver. I'm hoping to put 270-300 to the ground. Thanks.

No one rebuilds there engine before stuffing it in there bay and investing money into it? I can find a hundred threads on different head/block combos' but not one thread on recommended gasket kits for a rebuild. Performance or otherwise.

Go stock Subaru. Unless you want SERIOUS power, and possible SERIOUS problems, ie bad gaskets, just go OEM.

I did.....I pretty much rebuilt the internals to stock, and used stock components.

I used the subaru gasket kit, as it has all the gaskets/washers, etc that you need.
