EJ22T weight?
Anyone know how much it is?
Is it manageable to be carried by one person?

Hmm and plus I heard you should not be lifting the engine by the heads anyways right?
Haha I'm Studying Legacy 777's engine teardown.
Out of all of it, Removing and putting the pistons back in scares me the most. Getting the Wrist pin out seems pretty easy (watched a video) but How about getting it back on?

My biggest problem was getting the access window to remove the wrist pins open. It's held on by a couple phillips screws I think. I believe i never did get it off, i just took the block apart a diff way, since it was blown, it didnt matter anyway
I'd hazard a guess the block and heads are around 250 but I'm not sure. It probably wouldn't be that bad if it wasn't soo bulky.

I wouldn't recommend trying to lift the engine. Even if you can lift that much weight, it's bulky, and a good way to hurt yourself.
Lifing the short block is doable....but still a little heavy/bulky.
As for putting the pistons/wrist pins back in....they're not overly difficult. You need to try and get them lined up properly or close. Once you get them down far enough you can insert the wrist pin enough to turn the piston slightly if need be.

I routinely lift and move and pick up STi short blocks. They are fairly light. Probably 70lbs.
I wouldn't pick up a long block though. That's asking for a back injury.
As far as getting the wrist pin access holes open, it's best if you have an impact screwdriver. It's a hand-held device that you hit with a hammer, and it turns like 1/8 a turn with every hit. Great device. It's how you are supposed to handle almost all of the screws on the engine.
