My 92 has black steel rims on it, 5 bolt...
I assume it's a 100mm / 4 inch bolt pattern.
What other (If any) make of car rims would fit this bolt pattern?

Right, the only OEM rims that properly fit Subarus are from Subaru. No other manufacturer uses a high enough offset.
Some people do use 5x100 Volkswagen steel wheels for their snow tires on Subarus. The offset is about 20mm lower at 35mm rather than 55mm. If the snow tires are narrow, and you're really lucky, then you might not get too much rubbing. It'll still throw the whole system a little out of whack, though.
