Water Sound under dash - 94 Leg SW 250T

Post by natkaa »

Now and again I hear a noise which sounds like water running down a pipe. Is this normal because I had a new water pump put in about a year ago.

Make sure you have all the air out of the coolant system.

Mine was making the same noise occasionally for quite a while before I did a REALLY thorough burping of the coolant system.

yea, its the heater core that your hearing the coolant go through... it happens in my 93 N/A. and i have noticed when you have a lot of air in the system it will be louder than normal. so see if your low on coolant. that was my cure for mine
