ej22t parts id?

how can I tell the difference between the n/a pistons, rods and crankshaft and the turbo ones? if I get them mixed up am I in trouble?

The crowns on the pistons are definitely different, the turbo ones are cupped to reduce the CR.

Rods and crank though, I dunno. Matt Monson, thoughts, comments? :)

pretty sure (99.5%) that the crank and rods are the same. Pisons and pins are different. I think the turbo pin requires a different small end rod bushing too. I know the clearance is different. Not sure it this is taken up in the different pin though.

IIRC, I looked them up once and the rods were the same part number but the cranks were different. But I am still not convinced that they are actually different. All the engine builders I have talked to tell me they are the same...

im not sure but i thought the only difference in the crank was the hardening process. just what i heard
