I am currently pushing 7ish psi and making about 150-160 whp/170-180 torque.
With the second supercharger I should be 14 psi.

What do you think 7 extra psi will give me? Lets just assume I dont get detonation....

Thats why I said assume I don't have detonationdzx wrote:14 psi with the standard n/a compression?
I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to run a larger supercharger. But the largers superchargers are, well, LARGER. I have roughly measured the M90. really big.206er wrote:what is the difference between an M62 and other eatons like an M90, and why dont you just go to a bigger charger and drive ratio rather than 2 chargers? there is the cool factor I guess, but the added complexity on both the pulleys and piping just doesnt seem worth it.
are there any vortech type chargers you could use?
Actually, TIG is not that difficult on thin stuff (I was taught TIG on like 20 ga Aluminium)...and Doug has a good welder friend it looks like, So I'd say go for it206er wrote:I bet it wouldnt cost that much to get a bare core or even cut up an old intercooler into 1" pieces and have them welded between a couple plates then boxed in and some bungs added for the pump.
steel mani could be home made but aluminum TIG is pretty difficult especially on the thin stuff best left to a pro.
anyway, where are you going to put the second charger?
sweet!! I've got a line on a cheap m45, maybe I should put it on my xt6?douglas vincent wrote:yup.
m45 .5 liter air revolution
m62 .75
m90 1
m112 1.5?
