1994 Turbo Wagon.
A little more info. After calling the 1800 number on the back of the transmitter, it belongs to Omega Research and Development. Not sure if it is OEM but thought that might help.
Ever since I got the car in december my remote entry has been a joke. After doing work on the car this weekend, which required the negative connection be disabled, I am just too frustrated to keep something I don't use active.
I have looked at a couple of threads on here trying to find how to disable the system. Being a novice, and not wanting to cut any wires, yet, enabling the valet seemed like the best idea.
However I can't seem to find it under the dash. Anyone can give me a specific location to help me find it?
This is the thread that took me to this point:

Where is the valet switch?

IF this is the OEM system, and you dont want it any more I'll gladly buy it from you. Some pics would help. Is there a switch on the dash that says "On Shock Off Off"?

If it's OEM it should have a really old-school-looking remote. I wanted to find a picture but the one I saw before seems to have disappeared off the internets.
Suffice it to say that it has a blue color scheme and two large square buttons -- one lock, one unlock.

If it's the OEM system, after it loses power you have to fill all 5 memory slots by pushing the buttons on the remote. Do both singly and together 5 times total & then the alarm should stop flashing your parking lghts & be happy.
