Got a job at the Subaru dealership!

Post by Splinter »

One good thing finally happened to me at the end of this week.

Walked into the dealership to get my car looked at, ended up staying all day washing cars :D

Yea, they want me full time.

$10/hr and a 30% parts discount. I can live with that.. Not to mention I get to drive the occasional STi :D

Must be fun to take an STi around a crowded parking lot. :P

Awesome! :D

Although, I'm surprised they didn't give you 10% above cost for parts. Most dealerships do that for employees.

Figuring a discount from list price and figuring a discount from cost are two very different things ;)

Sounds like the best dealership experience ever. Congrats!

I went to get some nuts and bolts a few days ago and the local dealer didn't have any of them. :(

I had that same job a few years ago, started washing cars for the service department, then a little while later was the full-time detailer for almost two years.
Yes, it also was a Subaru dealership :D

I had so much fun there, and I learned alot. Also, I have driven almost every Subaru model ever sent to North america. :-D
It was awesome.
