(sorry to dig up an old thread) Does the Diamond pack need to be matched with a diamond ignitor, or not? my assumption is no, but i wanted to make sure before i go hunting.

back from the dead again! are all the "diamond" packs the same or are there only certain ones for the different years. i have a 92 N/A 2.2 legacy which has a diamond pack already, but i bought a newer one for my 99 legacy only to find out it has the wrong plug ends. should i just keep the old stock one or can i use the newer one?

After a certain year, the newer model coilpacks have male plugs instead of female.
