Right after it got painted and stickered

sweet car man! Why did you choose a legacy for circle track? Although i don't know anything about circle track, has the legacy platform been working well for you?

Thanks, the car originally belonged to my buddy's girlfriend's brother. Since I help build my buddy's car, he bought the legacy for like $50 and gave it to me to build up. Only needed a fuel injector to run great. Since the car is like a tank, any rubbin with cars and the wall I do doesn't really hurt the car. Only problem I run into is that after a race or two, I’ll strip about half of the front right tire down to the belts since the car weighs so much. I have finished 4th in points the last two years and I’m going against Eclipses, Integras, Preludes, and Celicas. Also I have found the car is more dependable then those other cars, I just check my fluids and add gas every week and it has never broke down on me.

Are you always going the same way around the track? If so you could weld up some camber plates for the top strut mount to keep that wheel with lots of negative camber.

If that's allowed in the rules, of course.

There is another member in Michigan that does circle track with his Legacy.

Are AWD cars allowed to race? Or do you have to be front/rear?

what sort of cars are you running against, and what are some rules for the class?
a friend of mine races 1/4 mile oval in a mini class with a old celica drivetrain in a chassis that is subframed and backhalfed.
I wouldnt mind trying some dirt track with a super beater.

How about Turbo/ Supercharged cars? What kind of suspension are you running on your car for circle track? Got any pics?

If you search there was a recent thread about drilling out the knuckle to allow you to run 2 OEM camber bolts up front to effectively double the camber you can run up front. Or some crash bolts in the lower holes will allow you to get that extra camber you need. That will really help keep the car from running through tires so fast and give you extra grip.
