1990 Legacy AWD NA - what fits?

Post by voodoochylde »

I've read the compendium and I've done a TON of searching and I still can't decipher which struts from which years will fit my car and stock springs.

I'm not looking to upgrade my springs but I would like to drop a set of AGX's in and I can't find anyone who sells 'em for 1990/1991. TireRack sells them for 1992 and up...do they work with my stock springs without modification?

That's what I thought but I'm not sure. If the stock springs will work with these dampers...and the struts will bolt up without cutting/grinding, I'm getting them.

Think these would mess with my ride height? Up is good, I refuse to lower this car.

90-91 legacy matches 2004 /2005 wrx spring/strut setup minus the tophat. You have a tapered rear spring as do these years as far as I know it should work.

Edit: It is possible that the rears may need to be shimmed with washers before you put the tophat on...that is what I had to do.
