Yeah...it won't fit anything but a RHD Subie...unless you do some crafty modifications...

Is it just the motor or does it come with a car as well?
The motor and 5 speed trannys complete with wiring and ECU can be had on Ebay for $1200 shipped.

I'm sure that if you completely refabricated the turbo and exhaust piping it could be put in a LHD car very easily.

You can do much better than $1200 if you go auto. MT swaps from the same vendor are $1000...

Maybe he has a later model than that ebay stuff justifying the price.

Sure would be nice if the guy selling it would actually post some details. Year, trim level, mileage, condition, whats included, whats not, where it is located, estimated shipping amount, etc. Maybe would have helped avoid all the conversation in the thread now...

remember the parts shed rules apply to everyone...

Good luck with the sale. :)

Well, its an EJ20H (or EJ20TT) if that's how you roll. I don't know what turbo's it uses but I will say this...

I used to own a '96 Legacy GT 5mt with one of these motors when I lived in Japan and OMG! Flat spot my ass, I used to go into the city and spank the pants off whatever came along (or so I tell myself). I've been trying to find something comparable ever since, these motors are pure orgasm on the cheap!

As for what Keith said, more info would be nice. If it's a B4 front clip you should have no problem, shit I'll buy it at that price. But I'm guessing it's a '93-'98. If someone has a '95-'99 they could use the other parts off the clip.

That's actually pretty key that it's still in the frame and the vacuum lines aren't cut. That's got to add at least $300 to the value of this thing. Seriously. While vacuum diagrams can be found, having them all hooked up and in place before you tear into it will shave 10-20 hours off putting this into something like a RHD Mail legacy...

Why would you need a mail wagon???

With this clip, you get everything you need to transfer all the needed RHD components into a US, LHD shell. Little more work with firewall stuff to do but still, can be done.

I've never looked for twin turbo wiring diagrams, maybe the seller could help locate this to better facilitate the sale. This is a good price for a clip...IMO :-)

I'm in the process of putting one on a motorcycle and the other on another motorcycle. put it this way, I cant think of a single USDM car that they would be a good match for as a single. they are VF's and one uses a really special exhaust flange. so special it has to wear a helmet. :-D 3 wastegates FTL
