Missing tube off Duty Solenoid Valve?

That spinning thing that makes all of the cool noises. OE and Aftermarket.

Missing tube off Duty Solenoid Valve?

Post by BSOD2600 »

I was changing my fuel filter this afternoon and noticed that I had a loose tube. I traced it back to what I think is the Duty Solenoid Valve (16102AA012). It comes off the bottom of it. Looking around, I couldn't see anything obvious where it attaches.

Anyone have some pointers?

I think it might be a relief hose, and should probalby connect to the bit that goes between the airbox and the turbo inlet.

I agree with him.

My car didn't seem to want to boost quite right when I had it capped off.

There are no visible holes on the airbox. Is it underneath, requiring the airbox and the thing holding the MAF, to be removed?

There's a nipple on the resonator box after the MAF sensor, before the turbo. That's where it gets connected to.

Though it may have broken off.

I know I broke mine off one day while putting the intake back together. Ended up doing the coffee mug mod instead of replacing it.
