Two New Axles and still knocking...Help!

Post by FilmMaster »

Hey guys...Im a total newbie to this site and a newb to subarus too....now with that said, a few weeks ago I had both ball joints and the drivers side axle replaced...then the passenger side started knocking too so I decided to d that myself. It was pretty straight forward and much cheaper...but the problem im running into is that it still knocks (much less tho) and now kinda vibrates on hard acceleration too! So before I rip it apart I wanted to know if I could get some help and see if u guys ever ran into this problem!
Thanks....Steven

Could be the cv axles.

have you tried jacking the car up and tried moving the wheel to see if there's any free play?
