What IC are you going to use? I am usiing a FXT IC and have the offset clutch master cylinder reservoir, and it is under the IC. With the earlier USDM WRX IC, the offset reservoir might not be under that IC though. You can do a search and find a remote reservoir set up. The reservoir is connected by a tube to a cap on the OE reservoir. There was an SS at Subiefest 1 that had that set up and it looked like one way to go.
i am using a 06WRX tmic, so it is the same as the FXT one. I really want the offset one.
i dont want to just cut mine down, because i want my maintenance checks to not have to involve removing the tmic
--wait, you say yours is still under the ic even with the offset.?
i want to get this done, so i can figure out the Y pipe to turbo connection. I am using the VF11 factory turbo.

I was searching for the offset res. too. They're hard to find anymore, Frank doesn't even have them. I've got the 06 TMIC and even though the IC rests on the MC cap, I can still close my hood. I don't know if it's really all worth the hassle to relocate stuff. I've got to take the IC back out and check my tranny fluid, so I'll see if I've done any damage at that point.

I just cut down my stock reservior. I have about 1 or 2 mm of clearance, so it's all good.
