06 STI IC???

I know people have been having great success with the 06 wrx IC, what about the 06 STI IC, i find more of them for sale than the WRX!

I think that would run into the same issues as the earlier STI intercoolers. They are simply too thick to fit.

The '06 WRX units are actually smaller than the '02-'05 units, hence why they fit better. The '06 STI units are the same as they have been '04-'05.

Same size as '06 WRX.

The forester i/c has a weird non slanted outlet for the bov.... Other than that, the forester tmic is EXACTLY the same as the 06 wrx tmic.

The wrx tmic is probably a little better because the angle for the bov plate makes it a little easier to clear the throttle linkage....

Unless you block off the BPV plate, then it makes no difference.

Yeah, I made a plate and welded a tube to it so I could plumb the bov in a different spot....

Dscooby is correct - you have to either do what I did or run the bov off of somewhere else on the charge line.

So just as an fyi, I highly doubt anyone is going to get a stock wrx bov to fit in the stock location - the throttle cables interfere I believe....
