I picked up a 90 Legacy LS Special (so th etitle says)
And th eTach, and fuel gauge don't work...
Just wondering if anyone eles has had this trouble, and knows a fix for it....I figure it's electrical since both the tach, and the fuel gauge aren't working (the low fuel light doesn't work either )
Maybe try taking the cluster out and making sure all the connections are good. Otherwise, download the subaru reference manual and start tracing wires to/from those two instruments.
yea check the connections in the back, and then before you put everything back together, check to see if its working again... if not then a quick easy cheep check would be to go to as junkyard and pull a good looking cluster. and plug it in and see if that one works. the cluster board might just be fried in a sense
