There are a number of places on how to do this... but this seems to be the most comprehensive. Hope this helps!!!
and when you get yours in.... POST!!!! difficulties, parts, ect... the more the better!!!
thanks!!!
also... (not to hijack) but is the TD04 a better turbo to do this mod with? its basically...the same (with slight differences) but basically... the same besides the outlet... right?

If you put on the 06 intercooler with:
your VF-11, you will have to mod the turbo to intercooler pipe.
With a TD04, you will have to do more mods to the Intake to Turbo pipe to make it fit. ( with a small extension to the turbo to intercooler side.)
Both require mods to fit.

'06 TMIC y-pipe mod pics
I have a couple of pictures of what I did to modify a '02 WRX Samco y-pipe to fit a '06 FXT IC to a VF-12. I can post them here if somewone will help, or I can e-mail them to you. Thanks to Josh:

I used a stainless steel joiner, 2" , from siliconeintakes.com to get the spacing on the two legs that go to the IC to fit better. The Samco for the WRX was a little short for that dimension. Make sure you measure correctly and cut it right, I didn't and had to scramble to find a piece of silicone locally, thanks PIA. For the leg going to the turbo, I cut a piece of pipe, sized to fit. Don't think about using a '06 FXT/WRX silicone y pipe. The angle of the leg that goes to the turbo will not work.
