WTB Stock legacy catback (Vancouver, WA)

Post by jpimm2002 »

I need a stock catback for a NA legacy. If anyone has a 95 or later one that would be better because it doesn't have a cat in the midpipe. Let me know what you have.

Thanks

cat back

Post by Narini »

I have an entire down pipe to tail pipe off a 91 but it certainly is not the original since it is in good condition. I am in Ontario. (L1H 1B9). If shipping is not too crazy, can let you have it for cheap. Make an offer. I can send photos.

I'm not sure the turbo exhaust would be a direct fit. And I'm pretty sure shipping would be extreme because of the size.

If I can't find something locally I will probably just leave it alone until I sell it.

The reason I am looking for one is that one of the baffles in my flomaster came loose and created some really annoying resonances right in the 2-3000 rpm range.

That's why you don't use Flowmasters on teh Soobaroos...

:o

On a more serious note...there are a ton of Legacies in the junkyard down this direction Jeremy...and they would probably let you have a catback for pretty damn cheap.

I think that might be perfect. There's no cat in the midpipe on that, correct?

Yea I know...this was from before i knew better. This new noise makes me want to just cut it off and run without a muffler.

One problem.... TIME. I get off work at 5:00 and all the wrecking yards close at 6:00. And my weekends aren't too friendly lately either.

Edit: Oh one more thing, Nick, The 98gt catback is the same as mine minus the cat right?
