i was tired of trying to check oil/ect and hold the flashlight!

(no flash kinda blury) (i build neon lights)

My 240 and 260Z's had little lights on the inside passenger fender with a ~six foot cord that you could pull out and hold like a flashlight. I always thought that was a great idea. Unfortunately, with the 260, I needed to use it too often.

yea ive seen those.. great idea.. and stock.. its weird how alot of cars dont have any light under the hood at all

I guess nowadays, with the exception of the occasional poser guy pretending to know what he's looking at when a chick is around, it's mainly just mechanics that look under the hood and they have their own lights.

Good point.

I wonder how many modern guys have stood there opening and closing the hood on their new car tring to figure out if the light goes out when its shut... like they do when they get a microbrew outta their fridge. :P
