Motor trouble

Post by 93TurboLegacy »

When I run the car hard for awhile and let off the gas and get back on it it just dies and when I let off the gas it starts back up. I have no clue what it could be.

Do you have an aftermarket blowoff valve?

Any other symptoms the engine/car may have?

Sounds like a fueling or air flow issue. If you have a spare MAF, you could try swapping the current one out. Or you could try cleaning the current one.

If you take your foot off the gas in neutral while moving, does it die? or just stutter?
You could just need a fuel filter and a fuel injection cleaner done. If I were you I would take it to the dealer to have a service done to it.
