They look pretty good with the slip joints and the one peice design. I'd go external WG with that setup.
Kickin' it old-school.

Hope they're worth it.
why is that to much? the way i see it, this is what i was planning.

aps heders for sti 1000.

factory sti oil pan 110.
factory sti pick up 40.
factory sti baffle 30.
all the great taxs we have 20 and some.

then 4 x 160 for egt gage and probe = 800.

total 2000. for that set up.

this new set up

600 maxim works equal length header
40 factory pan ej22t pan, bonus more oil and better baffles
one 160 egt gauge and probe

total 800 and i walked away with equal length headers with more oil.

but one thing how come there is not one single bit of info of maxim products. the guy i got them off siad you never heard about them?? i dont have a fucking clue or when i search them i find nothing whats up?? one thing i found, is this even true??

Arctic Assassian: sounds like a good plan but i would have to change alot of things, i am sure in the near future i will try it out on another project subaru.

You can't datalog individual EGTs with the Autotronic?

A few of my friends datalog individual cyl EGTs with their ECUs, & use a pyrometer gauge to see exhaust temps during a pass (5 probes in total but just 1 gauge on a 4cyl).

Those headers look nice.
+1 for slip joints

Has the up-pipe been modified?

I thought I saw the headers you have with a 2 pipe up-pipe that merged about 1-2" or so before the turbo flange.

They looked really good, with the knot of pipes on the turbo side of the header...

That isn't JUST a stack of parts, that is a SET of parts, built and balanced to run the piss outta them for at LEAST a hundred thousand miles...

As long as the tune is solid...NICO! If you blow this up... Seriously... this one better not be #7. I would be stunned, but NOT surprised.

Anywas, I'm jealous, drunk, and dreaming. And I have to go to work. Peace.

here is the extra motor "stock, basic, i can drive my car to florida & back to canada" stock ej22t & new rings, ej20g dohc heads, ej20k intake manifold & all stock items on that. the dc sports headers are comeing off in the pic.
Image

then my new headers that i fixed the bung for egt and took the other guys egt stuff out, cleand it up and ready to weld that hole.

i picked this up from four star motor sports, it was a real rally gc8 air filter box, they got it in 1993 and sat on the self. i got it dirt cheap so i siad sure!! it will look good for a nice clean stock set up match the intercooler pipes. it even can take a factory air filter, sti filter is on the way lol.
