complete set JDM EJ20G heads - SOLD, SOLD, SOLD

Post by manxaru »

SOLD, thanks guys!

Complete set of JDM EJ20G "hydraulic rocker heads". I ran these on my car for 2000 miles and they ran great! I am told these heads are good for 7500 rpm, but I had my redline set at 7000.

Everyone knows the JDM 2.0 heads flow great and the only beef with the early "hydraulic rocker style" heads is that parts can be hard to get. Well, here is a complete set of heads with all the spare parts you will ever need.

In addition to complete set of heads (including springs, cam, retainers and covers, etc) I am including the following extra parts with this sale:

• metal timing gears (if you don't need them, we can delete to reduce shipping cost)
• set of 12 head bolts (if you don't need them, we can delete to reduce shipping cost)
• brand new set of intake, exhaust and breather gaskets
• 4 spare HLA's, tested & working (these are about $20 each, plus shipping from Europe or Japan)
• 4 spare HLA clips (cheap, but must be shipped from Europe or Japan)
• spare set of 2 exhaust & 2 intake valves
• spare set of 4 valve springs & retainers

I am asking $425, plus shipping for all of the parts shown above. I have a FEDEX ground account, so shipping is inexpensive.

I also have ignition coils, cams, valves, springs, HLA's, and valve covers from a second set of EJ20G hydraulic rocker heads for sale in another listing in this section.

Here are a few pics, more available upon request:

I'm interested in the gaskets, HLA parts, valves, springs, and retainers if you decide to separate these parts.

I know it's a direct bolt on for EJ20 & EJ25 blocks, but I don't have any experience with the EJ22. I'm sure someone else will chime, in or you can find out with a search.

FWIW - The block is probably fine I believe question will be the compatibility of the the intake manifold your using.

Yes, you would need to source a phase 1 DOHC intake manifold.

its on every 2.5 N/A motor made from 1996-1999. Not all that hard to come by. Every legacy outback, GT and 2.5 impreza came with them.
Kickin' it old-school.
