Get rid of the cone filter.

Thanks. The problem seems to have fixed itself :?

I've seen people saying on this board saying that adding a cone filter will reduce HP and you wont gain anything. But in my experience with this It feels like the throttle is definately more responsive and maybe theres a bit more power there aswell. I think this is because my model takes the air from the engine Bay instead of the fender your like your guys does.

Taking air from the engine bay is why we get less power with a cone filter. The best way to run a cone filter is to route it into the fender...

I might be able to get a few pictures for you people soon. Mine is probably different because I live in New Zealand and my car was imported from Japan originaly. Some of the differences also may be to do with how the steering wheel is on the other said and stuff but yeah I dunno.

Haha no. Definitely not.

The smaller or larger the number after the "VF" doesn't mean the turbo is smaller or larger.

i experienced this same problem on my car. from the factory, the cone sometimes comes with too much oil on it restricting the flow of air. it takes a little bit for the oil to evaporate, so you can wash the filter your self then re-oil it yourself with less oil on it.
