HEEELLLLPPP cant remove torque converter
Hello all, i am currently doing my auto to manual swap, and i cant, for the life of me, get the darn stupid bolts off of the flexplate/torque converter. this is slowing my whole swap.
i currently have the tranny out but uuuurrrrrgggg.
anyone have suggesttions on how to get it off.
also, where is the ecu located??
Auto trannys suck!
thanks

Once you gain access to the hole, slowly turn the crankshaft and look for bolt heads. Take out every one you see in that hole. Turn the crank again after each bolt is removed. There are 4 or 6 bolt to take out. Seeing as you have the transmission off, the torque convertor will probably drop when you take out the last one.
