I have a differential that's noisy, and has excessive side play where it connects to the driver's side axle. I strongly suspect that it's the bearing. Any suggestions?
Specifically, should I replace the differential or replace the bearing? It looks like this may be replaceable without pulling the entire unit. Is this the case, or is pulling the transmission an absolute requirement?
