Hey SubaruNation,
I've been doing a fair bit of reading and research and I'm elbows deep into a td04 and TMIC install on my 91 ss. about the only thing I am missing is where to get the BPV adapter or plate and an elbow. I see you have on is this pic:
Where did you get it?

you don't need that plastic 90* piece i have in that picture.
it's from lowes. we call it the creepy lowes object FTW!!
and i bought that cnc'd metal plate for a wrx off of ebay.
it's a wrx intercooler flange.
here's one
and another
thje problem with ^^ these is that there really isn't a way to attach a hose to them.
and you need everything there but the BOV. you don't want a Blow off valve b/c you would be wasting air.
if you have a machine shop in your area i would have them make you one if possible, otherwise look on ebay.
and you don't need the silicon hose to if you are doing a tdo4 swap.
you can look in my gallery for more pics of how i did it if you want

WOO!
i finally finished putting them on.
they started off old and ugly...er looking from being old and scratched and such..
The install wasn't too bad either, not a big deal.
then i made them look way better:

looks nice!
i'm curious as well, what car did the skirts come from?
newer legacy?
I have a set of wrx skirts sitting in the garage, but they don't line up as nice as the ones you've put on?

they came off of a 94 legacy gt wagon.
you could do something to the wrx ones to make them fit probably, you would need a heat gun because they are probably abs.
now i just need a rear lip...

lol, they're actually about 1.5" shorter then they need to be.SubaruNation wrote:they came off of a 94 legacy gt wagon.

But with all my awesome fiberglass experience (read: just learned how to)
I could lengthen those suckers! Unfortunately i think it'll look ridiculous without a front bumper that lines up to them.

just added MORE VF111 + 06/07 TMIC info.
kinda hard to believe i know.
You should now be able to look at this thread and know what you need to be able to install one into your car w/out turbo swapping.

Just Finished Tinting not too long ago,
Here are my results.
i actually see why they charge a ton of money to do this it was not easy..
and again... excuse the door insulation rubber thing that loves falling out of my passenger door.
Go dark or go home ha ha!
what do you guys think?

thanks yo!
im super stoked also,
i went w/ the 5% tint.
go dark or go home lol!
you seriously cannot see inside the car even if you put your face right up to it.
i paid just $40 for the tint from a badass tint dealer on ebay, "protint.." or something close to it. def recommend them for sure, custom cut and everything.
i absolutely love it.
im officially gangster lol!
duplicolor is good stuff, i only use the clearcoat however.

w/ the sideskirts i used the same color that i used on my wheels to keep the matching going on, which was "rustoleum midnight black metallic"n2x4 wrote:Did you use Dupicolor wheel paint on your sideskirts?

Oh wow. So you did the actual tinting yourself? Or did you have someone put it on for you?SubaruNation wrote: thanks yo!

these guys that do this professionally deserve more than whatever they are paid. really frustrating work until you figure out how to do it.

Hey man those wheels look sick too, i just realized i copied your color of those rims as i just painted mine black, Except mine are the RS style(6 spoke) from a 96 Outback!
What i meant also was that of course the skirts look good, But Due to ABMS dark properties, black stands out and looks good on it, but all in proportion right!
