Need help with wastegate to MBC vaccum line.
Hi, I was working on my car today and I noticed that in the instructions in the library for the halman mbc, that your supposed to have a small brass fitting with a hole in the mbc to wastegate line. I do not have that and come to think of it the lag between shifts has always been pretty bad. What can I do to fix that? Is there a hardware store piece I can put in there or even just poking a hole in the line? Any ideas?
Can anyone give me some info on this? Is there or is there not supposed to be a brass fitting that goes on the wastegate actuator to boost solenoid line? I called my local subaru dealer and they had no idea what I was talking about. Anyone adivise?...thanks.
Its the next to last pic on the page. What is that and if I cant find it at the dealership what can I use in its place?

Its a check valve or a one way valve. You can probably pick one up at a local hardware store. Greetings from Longmont!
