Couple Questions...

Post by Brian White »

1. Where can I find Magnecor 8.5 mm Racing Wires for
a '93 Legacy Turbo Wagon?

2. What do I need to pull codes from my OBD-1? I've
already got a Palm, so is there any software/cabling
that I can use or do I need a laptop?

Thanks Guys.

-Brian

Couple Questions...

The Magnecor wires you should be able to pick up at a speed shop. They'll order them specialty cut to your vehicle, as they do for every set of wires for magnecor. I have magnecor's website and contact info in the vendors section of my site, they probably have a dealer locater on there.

As for the codes, you can pull the codes on an OBD I without a computer. Check out my site under notes & tips. I have a detailed instructions on how to pull the ECU codes, what each code is for, and also have the instructions how to pull the TCU codes.

Got any questions just holler.

Brian-additional info: if you can find someone with what is similar to a Tech-I for the Subarus, you can not only pull codes but you can clear them w/o having to unhook your battery, etc. These are usually found in dealerships & are quite expensive. Just a thought.............ROD (AZ.)
