Found on RS25: coolant fill tanks from JDM cars

Post by dscoobydoo »

I saw that a guy on RS25 has a few JDM fill tanks that would be great for ditching your original one and relocating to where it is on the WRX.

Check my pics to see where I put mine. Better for clearance, and you lose the plastic tank.

I think I also saw them on ebay.
Yes I have too many Subarus
No you can't have one

The picture shows the EJ20G plastic tank. I've got a couple of those and a stock Ej22T one if that's what people want. I never advertise them since everyone seems to want metal.

$30 shipped via USPS flat rate priority box.

Yeah, I picked up a WRX metal one even though my stock one is in perfect shape. Metal = a ton less worrying about cracks.

You've just got to watch it on which generation metal one you get. The 02-03 Bugeye tanks have a crimped on top which blows the seal after a few years just like a radiator tank. I think the new one was introduced in 2004, but it may even be later than that.
