ABS brakes after Turbo Swap

Post by wtdash »

My '90 did not have ABS brakes. I'm 99% sure all the Turbos did, which means the Turbo ECU should be looking for them, correct?

I get no codes/no CEL/no BRAKE dash light.

I have no braking issues.

Since I didn't have ABS to start with, does the ECU just ignore it?

Or maybe since I don't have the ABS light, I wouldn't know if there was an issue w/the system?

Just curious.

Thanks

ABS is not controlled by the ECU.

The ECU pinout in the library section shows you what goes into the ECU, and gives you a good understanding of what the ECU controls. ABS isn't involved at all, so you're good.

n2x4 is correct, ECU doesn't care about ABS.
