looks like this is the reason for the clacking / plug#2
i bet simply replacing the plug will not resolve this issue

Yikes! Know any mechanics with a camera to get in there and look at it?

np people were talking valvetrain once i posted an audio video a while back , now i m not so sure what to think -
rod knock looks more likely
i imagine the piston has sustained some damege from this

haha, wtf. you'd have to have A LOT of rod knock to start hitting the spark plug, if it can even hit it.
Are those plugs to long like gijonas thought?
oh and now his piston is "clearanced" not damaged, doug. haha!
but seriously that sucks, go find someone with a fiber-optic camera

broken valve. or your engine sucked something in it.
or your piston exploded.
