hey guys i was just curious if it really matters what i get as far as a manual boost controller goes. I found some on ebay for less than $20..... im not quite sure if its worth spending 80+ on one if all it really is is a valve... anyways i appreciate any input

Just to answer your question anyways. It really just depends on the maker. Name always add extra to the price, and depends if you go mechanical or electrical. Any who I just made my own. Couple of parts from home depot,a spring, and a ball bearing. Happily pushing 8 lbs :-D

The ECU in that car can control the boost. You just need to take it to have it tuned by someone that knows what they're doing.

I probably bought the same one you are looking at on EBAY. Works like a charm but as some one else said it's easy to make your own. But finding the parts and getting them all together will take more time and money then buying the $20 one on ebay.
