Im ordering Lowering springs. Help.

Post by Dantes Inferno »

What lowering springs should I order for my 1993 wagon. I want it much lower than stock but not dragging. Looking for a nice even drop.

Whats the best you guys think. Heard good things about whiteline!

Should I order parts for a GC8 wagon?

I think if you want your car that low you should get coilovers for a 93-01 impreza. With camber adjustments.

Here's mine on stock size tires and wheels sitting on Tanabe Sustec Pro coilovers.

I don't believe springs will go with low without modification.

Here is my '91 SS with Eibach Pro Kit springs for a '04 WRX on KYB AGX's, dropped about 1 1/2" rear and 2" front. Spring rates are about 190 front and 170 rear, about as stiff as I'd want to go on a daily driver. I've been very happy with the set up for over 50,000 miles.

Note, the '04 WRX has the tapered top rear springs so that are a direct swap for the 89'-'91 cars. '92-'94 Legacy's would be better to use the '02/'03 WRX stuff.
