i need help asap....... trans/clutch problems

i have adjusted the clutch and now it wont even release the clutch. ive done everything i could think of any ideas what it could be??

the only problem is when im at a standstill i can drive just fine shifting with the clutch smoothly but when im at a stop it wont even come out of gear unless the car is off like im being locked out

More info please...Cable or hydraulic clutch? You said you tried everything you could think of, please tell us what all that was. It'll be a LOT easier to help you out if ya tell us :-)

its cable clutch and ive tried adjusting it tightening and loosening the cable no matter what i did it got worse like i have to yank it out of gear while its running

i should have said this in the beginning that im a newb and am new to subarus ive done alot of work on toyotas and chevys.

You could have broken the cable or cause it to bind up if you twisted it. If you messed with your clutch pedal height or you've got a floor mat that could also cause the issue.
