If my o2 sensor is clogged or almost clogged, would it give a lean
reading or rich reading?

About how much for a new O2 sensor? Mine has 293,000 miles on it,
and after checking all the gaskets and vacuum connections, I still
have a rough idle intermittantly and thought maybe this O2 sensor
could be the cause. Anyone familiar with rough idle= bad O2 sensor?

A new O2 sensor is about $120 
, or you could get a universal type
for less, but you would have to hard wire it in. Most likely if you
O2 sensor is bad, it will give you a CE light error code. Check the
codes before you pay $100+.
