Welcome to the board.

You'll find a lot of swaybar info in this thread.

Just for future reference, always try a search first (in the main menu up top). There's a good chance your question may have been answered already in a past discussion.

1992 Legacy sway bars...

Post by sto92'LEGACYck »

Thank you!!! Anyway i checked out the suspension forum and i didn't see what i was looking for... I have a 1992 Subaru legacy sedan, type L, with stock suspension. I checked the sway bar info that was posted but there wasn't any dates for the cars... I heard that my car doesn't even come with sway bars.. I'm kinda dumb and new to sway bars but was told it would stiffen up my car. So does anyone know the size of sway bar my car needs and maybe a different car's stock sway bars that might fit my car???? Thanks

I'm pretty sure most if not all of the answers to your questions are in that thread. There are dates and info as to what cars came with what swaybars in the second post. I highly recommend you read the entire thing carefully.

Front Impreza wagon sway bar will fit, 20mm, it stiffens it up nicely, they should all be the same size between models but it has to be a GG wagon.

No rears swap so you have to go aftermarket, I plan to get a whiteline, which is the only company I've found for them, but last I checked they were on backorder.

And IIRC you have a front sway bar but not rear, it's easy to find out though if you look under the car.
