94 t leg tranny issue!?

Post by __TT__ »

94 t leg wagon
4eat with rebuild at 110,000

currently 198,000 on the clock
pan dropped and filter cleaned around 3000 ago (no filings in filter)

now for the issue. tranny drops out with very little to no grab once it warms up. there is clean fluid in it. when its cold its got good power. this is abrupt, no gradual loss, was not hard on throttle when it went out.

now it could be unrelated but the rad bubbled up on me as well even though my temp guage read normal. also no fan movement.

motor is strong and oil is clean (no coolant)

its been close to 0 degrees all week here in denver.

Is the duty c solenoid an active code, or just one that gets stored every now and then?
