Which set of EJ20G heads do I choose?

I'm not sure which one is better. One set has hydraulic lifters and one set has hydraulic lash adjusters.

Does anyone know what the differences with these heads as far as the valves and combustion chamber size would be? There are so many variations of the EJ20G it's hard to keep track of.

Fortunately I have a set of spare HLA already in the parts bin so that might not be a problem but with the set of Twin Turbo Legacy EJ20G heads it's a HUGE problem to find parts like cam caps, camshafts, valve cover gaskets etc.
Are the hydraulic lifters ones from some USDM Subaru?
