Where does the bov go?

Post by Legacytuner »

I just bought an AWIC from NZ and samco hoses for it. After trial fitting it to see what needed to be moved i realized that there is no place for the bov. Can anyone help me out with some info or pics of what they have
done for this :?:

I think with the stock AWIC setup the blowoff valve went between the rubber elbow that goes into the compressor inlet and the tube that goes between the compressor outlet and the intercooler inlet. Does the Samco replacement for this latter part not include a fitting for it?

BOV ON AWIC ?

Post by Legacytuner »

No I bought a 2" 45 degree elbow from the turbo to the i/c inlet and a 3"
coupler from i/c outlet to manifold. Is there a direct fit hose that has a place to put the bov :?:

I just got the same I/C water-air and I'll try to add to my Legacy, so please post all the information you may have with pictures if possible. The best place for BOV is between I/C and TB. But there is not place to install. I’ll try to customize this one. :?:
